What is Learn with KAI?

Learn with KAI (LWK) where KAI stands for Knowledge, Action, and Influence. Where kids of all ages gain knowledge on a specific topic, take action on what they learned, and influence others.

It was designed to bridge the gap between what is not taught in schools and wants really needed in the real world in a fun and interactive way to learn. LWK’s main purpose was to make learning not only fun but also exciting so they WANT TO not HAVE TO learn.

LWK uses all 4 ways of learning to fully engage all different learning types.

Visual: educational videos

Auditory: recorded courses

Kinesthetic: recognition and fun rewards

Reading: digital online books

Finally, after each kid finished a course and based on their score they earn points to engage in fun challenges and games to win prizes

How does Learn with KAI work?

Similar to any traditional arcade where you give your hard-earned dollars and convert them into tokens or points onto a game card to play video games to earn enough points to win a prize from the redemption prize wall, that usually breaks or is forgotten after a few days.

LWK is similar. When you 1st sign up you get a digital game card, that tracks your tokens, points, the course you’re currently learning, and most importantly your progress. However now instead of your money being thrown away, it’s now being invested into an education program where after completing the course they can earn tokens based bow how well they do on the course. And like the arcade, the tokens are used to play online games and challenges where they can earn points to buy prizes from our virtual prize wall. But now they now only had fun but got valuable knowledge as well.

Each course is created of small short mini-series videos lasting only 15-20 min each. Then after each video is a short fun quiz on what they learned. And the best part, unlike traditional schools where cheating is not allowed, we encourage it and don’t call it cheating we call it being RESOURCEFUL.

In real life we don’t live a closed book exam, we live an open book exam we have resources available to us to help us find answers to the questions we have. Like Google, YouTube, & Siri just to name a few. So we encourage the kids to use them too. This also helps the kids to get the highest score which in turn gets them the most amount of tokens to play and have fun.

Why Learn with KAI?

After being in the family Fun Center Business for many years, offering not just video games but many different types of interactive games, we enjoyed seeing now kids and adults of all ages love to come to play and interact.

Wanting to do something different we decided to bring the fun online but with a twist and now include a new way to learn in a fun and exciting way.

Initially designed for one of the co-founder’s son, Kai.

His father being a successful entrepreneur, real estate investor and educator, wanted to teach Kai at a young age what was taught to his dad over the past 25 years by various mentors that help create the life they have today. He wants to teach Kai more than what is taught in traditional schools and give his son the best gift… KNOWLEDGE.

DEAN PARK

Dean Park is first a Christian servant, then a dedicated husband to an amazing wife Kristi, father to a son who is his best friend, Kai, and then a serial entrepreneur with core values he lives by. They are so important that it is his name. Dependable-Energetic-Adaptable-Never Give Up-Purpose Driven-Ambitious-Results Driven-Kind.

FETCH is Dean’s entrepreneur model. It’s the 5 things we can live without. Food, Education, transportation, Clothing, & Housing. With business in each of these categories he has learned to grow a business you start slow but scale quickly by creating effective SOP, checklists, and systems that allow the business to run itself, not the business to run you.

Aside from his businesses he is also an NLP / Hypnosis practitioner and a certified business and life coach. The purpose of this was to help him create lasting change not only for himself but for others as well.

As a licensed pilot in almost everything in the air from gliders, seaplanes, fixed wings,s and helicopters, he has now logged over 30,000 hrs of flight time. In his free time, he enjoys flying, boating, RC toys, and racing cars with his son. He is a big kid with a big heart and plans to never grow up and always push his limits.

His true purpose and passion though, is using his gifts by helping others grow and become better. His gift is taking the complex and making it simple and fun. Over the years he has helped many achieve success with his principles. To get ahead in life remember this D-decide what you want, E-execute a plan, A-action now, N-never give up= DEAN

Dinah West

Hi, I’m Dinah! I have been with Learn With K.A.I from the beginning and I’m here because I love seeing people grow and realize their dreams. I see Learn With K.A.I as a roadmap to success in more ways than one…success doesn’t just have to be in business, you can be successful in all aspects of your life.

My educational background is in Communication and Marketing and I love learning and teaching. My full-time career is as an airline pilot and I have spent years along the way training and mentoring other pilots. I definitely have a passion for education and growth and I’m excited to join you and your kids on the Learn With K.A.I journey!

KATE ELLIS

I’m Kate Anderson-Ellis. I’m the mother of six awesome and unique kids (ranging from 6-18 ages). I’m the wife of an amazingly supportive man, Jonathan Ellis.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and enjoyed doing my student teaching in London, England. To further my education, I received a reading and math endorsement.

After 17 years of teaching (kindergarten-5th grade), I decided to resign from the classroom to focus on my passion for content and curriculum with the goal to reach and impact students across America instead of in a single classroom.

JONATHAN ELLIS

Jonathan Ellis, husband, and father of six (3 boys and 3 girls) ranging from 6-18, brings decades of entrepreneurship to the team of Learn With Kai. Always looking to grow, relationally, physically, mentally, and spiritually, Jonathan always seeks to improve on the man, the husband, the father, and the leader he was yesterday. Jonathan was taught to maintain a servant learners heart and is an active member and usher in his local church, currently serving as an usher and has previously served in children’s ministries and in youth groups. Jonathan also served as the president of the “Christian Club” in his middle school years of seventh and eighth grade.
